Imp: I’m (almost) changing my business model
A Behind-the-scene look (& 3 changes)

It has been a loooong day…
A team meeting
2 client meetings
2 calls with my coaching clients
Going to the gym with my daughter
Writing 3 LinkedIn posts…
It's 11:30 p.m., and finally, I’ve got some time to myself.
This email isn’t going to be an educational one about personal branding or reputation building.
Instead, I want to walk you through what’s been happening behind the scenes at my company.
Because over the last 90 days, I’ve been making some structural changes to the business.
But before diving into those changes, let me share what Tima Media actually does:
We help C-suite executives build their personal brands on LinkedIn.
Copywriting, design, and community building—
All-in-one.
Done-with-you 1:1 coaching program- Every month, I work with 5 founders, agency owners, or solopreneurs individually, helping them design and build their LinkedIn brand.
I also conduct training sessions for organisations (both offline and online).
Add in speaking gigs, and this has become a prominent offering at the company.
And the entire business was handled by…
Only 3 people… including me.
A small team meant we moved fast.
From planning to execution, we operated with speed.
But with that came a big bottleneck.
We couldn’t scale.
We couldn’t grow beyond a certain level.
Because:
I was involved in every decision
My team was too small
Serving clients 1:1 took up too much time
That’s when I realised I needed to make some fundamental shifts in the business.
From the team to the core offers… everything needed restructuring.
So I did it.
1. Upselling to existing clients
I’ve been working with many of my clients for months.
They’ve built elegant LinkedIn presences thanks to their credibility and our strategies.
So the obvious next step was to help them expand their online presence.
Newsletters. Podcasts. Instagram.
It allowed us to scale, without taking on more clients.
2. Hiring better talent
I hired two new team members dedicated to supporting my coaching clients.
That way, we can provide more hands-on help.
Now, I have designated members for each role.
No one is overburdened.
And as the founder, I can spend more time talking to prospects and closing more deals.
Business-wise, this has been my best decision.
3. Switching from 1:1 coaching to group coaching
This was a strategic move.
For context, I ran a group coaching program in 2023.
Held weekly sessions.
Built a community.
Gradually, I shifted to 1:1 coaching to offer more personalised help.
But now, I’m moving back to the group model.
Why?
In 2025, community is the singular factor driving the growth of online brands.
People want to be surrounded by like-minded individuals.
That’s the future of distribution.
A group cohort allows me to build and nurture a real community.
So I’m leaning into this model.
Revamping the entire structure of my coaching offer.
That’s how I’m doubling down on scaling the business.
Exciting times ahead.
Can’t wait to share more with you.
That’s it for now.
Btw… I’m accepting the final batch of clients for my 1:1 coaching program.
