This is what I always encourage my clients to do

The 'Right' way to repurpose content

I’ve missed you.

I know I’ve been MIA.

Not a single email from me in a little while.

Here’s why:

– A holiday with my beautiful daughter

– Observing the holy month of Ramadan

– Celebrating Eid

– Client work and private workshops

Life has been full.

But I haven’t forgotten you.

And I deeply appreciate your patience.

Moving forward — no more disappearing acts.

If I ever need a pause, I’ll let you know first.

Thank you for being here ❤️

And to the many new subscribers who’ve joined in the past month — welcome.

I’m so glad you’re here.

I already have 3 fresh topics planned, so you can expect regular emails again…

Now, a quick confession:

I wasn’t posting much on LinkedIn either.

Why?

Lack of time.

Other priorities.

The pause button got pressed.

But here’s what I did do — something I always encourage my clients to do:

I repurposed older posts. The right way.

You don’t need years of content to start repurposing.

Even if you’ve posted 3x a week for just a couple of months.

You already have enough stories, ideas, and insights to work with.

With the right approach, you can remix those posts to create something original.

Something that sounds just like you.

Let me show you how.

Below, I’m sharing 4 of my older posts — and exactly how I would repurpose each one.

(And no, I’ve never shared this on LinkedIn… so this is just for you)

Ready?

Let’s dive in.

POST-1

POST-2

POST-3

POST-4

Here’s what I did.

I took the important takeaways from those original posts.

Then I:

– Changed the hook
– Switched up the format
– Rewrote it using my voice and current perspective

What I ended up with was a brand new post.

Built from the same core message, but sounding completely fresh.

Original thoughts.
My exact words.
Nothing recycled.

Here’s an example of how that looks in practice:

I’ve worked with 300+ founders and organisations.

Here are 9 rules of personal branding I live by:

1. LinkedIn is full of templates and "proven" strategies.

But if everyone’s following the same formula:

Who’s truly standing out?

Own your narrative.

Create with purpose.

Make the impact only you can make.

2. Don’t fall into the trap of creating content just to become famous.

Here’s what we tell ourselves:

"If someone has over X followers, they must be successful."

But follower count ≠ Financial success.

3. Have a system to turn followers into clients or opportunities.

Here’s what I focus on:

→ 20% of my time is on content.

→ 80% of my time is in the DMs.

Simple. Intentional. Consistent.

4. Know your 'Purpose'.

This isn’t a tagline.

It’s the deeper reason behind what you do.

When you’re clear on it, your brand has direction.

People can feel the conviction behind your words.

5. Share your wisdom, not just information.

Wisdom isn’t just knowledge.

It’s your unique blend of experience, perspective and values.

That’s what makes your voice valuable and worth listening to.

6. Your values are the core of your brand.

They shape how you show up, what you say yes to and who you attract.

Strong values = Strong brand alignment.

7. Let your values guide your message.

Your audience shouldn’t have to guess what you stand for.

→ Value honesty? Even when it’s uncomfortable.

→ Value community? Invite real conversation.

→ Value excellence? Set a standard in how you show up.

8. People remember stories.

They don’t remember what you show, they remember what they feel.

→ Share a moment when your values were tested.

→ Share an experience that shifted your thinking.

→ Share how your values helped you make a tough decision.

9. Engagement is more than likes and comments.

It’s trust.

It’s connection.

It’s conversation.

It’s how you build something real offline and online.

See? That’s how simple it is.

Which is why I always encourage my clients to build a content library:

– Full of your stories
– Full of your points of view
– Full of content that feels like you

It becomes your creative safety net.
Something you can lean on whenever you hit a block or need to ignite new ideas.

That’s it from me today.

I’m working on some meaningful (and exciting) things behind the scenes.

I can’t wait to share more in the coming weeks.

And no, they have nothing to do with LinkedIn. Well… kind of.

P.S. If you’ve emailed me with kind words or feedback - I’ve read every message.

It means the world.

I’ll be replying to each of you soon.
